Matt Statz

Freshmen Head Coach

3rd year coaching VAHS baseball. Coach Statz previously coached Freshmen and Junior Varsity Baseball at Lodi High School for four years. He is also the current Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Mt. Horeb High School, a position that he's held for the last three years. Coach Statz graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a BS in Kinesiology (Exercise Management emphasis) and is a NSCA-Personal Trainer.

Jordan Bodendein

Freshmen Assistant Coach

3rd year. Coach Bodendein earned three varsity baseball letters at Middleton High School, reaching the state tournament twice in 1995 and 1996. He majored in psychology and philosophy at the University of Wisconsin. Coach Bodendein is an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan. He is married to wife, Sara, lives in Madison, and is employed by Epic Software in Verona.
